This was the second time for me working on this website for IO Festival, the largest annual student festival in Europe. I have been working together with Timon, the commisioner of publicity of the IOFestival committee. Since this was the first time since the corona pandemic started that the festival took place physically, there was a lot of pressure on attracting as many people as possible.
pendulum
The theme of this IO Festival was pendulum. We looked into creating a style for the website where we could give the user a sence of motion, while still keeping a clean and clear style. With the use of only white and primarely a blue color, we succeeded in this goal and ended up with a beautiful end result.
Sold out in a minute
With all the promotion and the website itself, it only took a few minutes after the ticket sale started for the festival to be sold out.
